Writer’s Workshop offered at the Winter Public Library

Have you ever wondered what it takes to publish a piece of your writing?  Come to the Winter Public Library on Tuesday, August 1st from 1-2:00 p.m. to meet with a self published author, Patricia Elliott.  Patricia has written a book called “Once Upon a Time, Upon a Time,” which will be released at the end of August 2017 which is a fantasy book suitable for young adults and adults.  She has two other books that are in the works to be released at a future date.  Patricia is a published author for scientific journals and is a retired psychiatric nurse.

Some of the Writer’s Workshop topics that will be discussed will include how to self publish, resources available, and how to create characters.  If you have a piece of work started, please feel free to bring that along.  Patricia would like to meet several times throughout the month of August on Tuesdays and Thursdays so if you cannot meet on August 1st at 1:00 p.m. and are interested in attending a Writer’s Workshop, please contact the library with a time that works for you.  She is willing to adjust the meeting time to meet the needs of the attendees.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.  Call the library with any questions at 715-266-2144.
